Toni L. Cooper, RN, MSN, CDE, CDFS

Toni Cooper, RN, MSN, CDE, CDFS is the Director of Clinical Operations for the Company. She was formerly Diabetes Program Coordinator at the Diabetes and Metabolism Clinic at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMC) in Jackson, Mississippi from 1999 until 2009. She also served as a diabetes educator and foot care specialist, and a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Mississippi School of Nursing. From 1985 until 1999, she was Diabetes Services Coordinator, Diabetes Educator and Foot Care Specialist, and Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. While at BMC, she developed and implemented the first American Diabetes Association Recognized Diabetes Education Program in the State of Mississippi. Ms. Cooper was named Diabetes Educator of the Year for 2009 by the Mississippi Association of Diabetes Educators. Ms. Cooper received her BSN from the University of Arizona, her MSN from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 1987.
