Austin Triggs
President and Chief Executive Officer
Austin Triggs is President of the Company. He was formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Renal Care Group, Inc., a public health care Company, from May 1996 through May 2005. At Renal Care Group, he had primary responsibility for acquiring dialysis programs and developing joint ventures with physicians, hospitals, and university medical centers as well as other mergers and acquisitions.. Following RCG, he worked as an advisor to academic medical centers, an international health care company, and private equity funds.
From 1991 until joining RCG in 1996, he served as a senior executive and board member at companies providing general and specialized home care services and occupational medical services. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Mississippi School of Law. His prior civic activities include serving as chair of the advisory board of the Duke University Institute on Care at the End of Life, principal adviser to the Center for Spirituality, Theology, and Health at the Duke Medical Center, and a board member of the American Council on Germany. He is currently a member of the board of Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee.
Marshall J. Bouldin, IV, M.D.
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Marshall Bouldin is the Chief Medical Officer of Diabetes Care Group r. He was formerly Chief Medical Officer of the Delta Health Alliance, a federally-funded not-for-profit organization responsible for improving health and wellness in the Mississippi Delta region. He was also Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he founded and directed both the UMMC Diabetes and Metabolism Center and the Delta Diabetes Project, which was sponsored by the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Delta Health Alliance, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. From 1991 through 1999, Dr. Bouldin practiced internal medicine in Vicksburg, Mississippi. A Rhodes Scholar, Dr. Bouldin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi, and an M.D. degree from Johns Hopkins University. He was a resident in internal medicine at the University of Virginia.
Jeffrey E. Tornow
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Tornow serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Company on a part-time basis. He is currently the chief financial officer of Electronic Systems, Inc., a contract manufacturer of electronics in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a position he has occupied since 2003. His responsibilities include all accounting, treasury, and financial reporting functions, human resources, risk management, and information systems. From 2000 until 2003, he was the CFO at a steel fabricator in Sioux Falls. He has also served as the CFO and operations manager of a home infusion and retail pharmacy, CFO of a provider of home care services to medically fragile children, and as regional controller for a wholesale drug distributer. From 1992 until 2000, he was a consultant to Frontenac Venture Capital with a special focus on health care services companies. From 1981 until 1984, he was an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a summa cum laude graduate in accounting of Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota
Autumn Douglas, LD, RD, CDE
Director of Clinical Operations
Autumn Douglas is Director of Cliical Operations. She assists in the development and implementation of the Company’s clinical and operating policies and procedures. She also acts as a diabetes educator and provides insulin pump training for patients. Autumn was formerly the clinical manager for Animas Insulin Pumps, a Johnson & Johnson Company, in the Mississippi Territory from 2006 through 2010. She is responsible for nutrition education and diabetes self-management training (individual and class setting) including pump training. She has been a Certified Diabetes Educator and certified insulin pump trainer since 2003. Autumn has provided diabetes education for adults and children in a clinic setting and in the community via radio, local television, and patient conferences in both Louisiana and Mississippi. She also has experience in the specialty areas of weight management, eating disorders, and other general wellness issues. Autumn received her BS degree in dietetics from Nicholls State University in 1999.
